Our Brave Little Guy!

Thank you for all of the great juju!  Your positive stories and comments really helped us stay sane and semi-relaxed throughout the weekend.  We dropped Sid off at the vet this morning for his teeth cleaning and wart removal, and in a few short hours he’ll be coming home.  He’ll be a little woozy, but his breath will be fresh and his face and mouth will be wart-free!  Perhaps, if he’s feeling up to it, we can get his take on this whole situation sometime tomorrow.  I’m sure he’ll have plenty to say about the fact that he couldn’t have breakfast before we “abandoned him” at the vet…

Mochi has allergies too and is going for her second blood work done with a new doctor.

I’ve changed her food to the Honest Kitchen Thrive ( a gluten free food) and it seems to have helped a lot.
She’s also get Benadryl adult size with her breakfast and dinner.
And I’ve got them all on Nortic Natural Omega 3 and Ark’s Natural Gentle Digest.

So sorry to hear about your troubles, Sid. Have you done any research on l-lysine? I (human) take this for cold sores and it has helped. If you can, find a holistic vet, homeopath or herbalist to consult for dosage. I have friends who use lysine on their cats for feline herpes and pugs for the spots that show up on the tummy.
You may also want to read Pets at Risk by Alfred Plechner. Tallulah and Petunia have been on the Plechner protocol for a few years now and the results are amazing. They used to be covered in hot spots, miserable from itching. Haven’t had a hot spot in years now.
    Good luck.
